How to remove/uninstall Microsoft Windows Store applications

Shortcut key/Hotkeys

  1. Press and hold the Windows logo key on the keyboard,
  2. Press the I key on the keyboard,
  3. Release both keys on the keyboard,
  4. Click Apps,
  5. Click on the application you want to uninstall,
  6. Click uninstall,
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: Some applications require the system to restart in order to complete the removal process.

  1. Press and release the Windows logo key on the keyboard,
  2. Type add or remove programs
  3. Click Add or remove programs,

Run command-line

  1. Press and hold the windows logo key on the keyboard,
  2. Press the R key on the keyboard, now release both keys.
  3. Type appwiz.cpl
  4. Click Ok or Press the Enter key on the keyboard.
  5. The Add or remove programs control panel will appear on the screen.
